OFF OFF ONLINE"The story begins when Peter Cooper, a young musician struggling to find himself in New York City, wakes up to an escort, Tiffany (a sexy Jenni Halina), who demands money, and to Sean Dempsey, his irate Irish landlord, screaming for several months’ rent.....""The Utah-born Tiffany, Peter’s paid-for one-night stand, offers him a no-nonsense perspective on life as she flits around disgusted at his living conditions—dirty and sparse. Social commentary on the city’s housing situation from the escort in ripped stockings really lends the piece a raw, punk edge."-Deborah Anderson, OffOffOnline

One Way To Pluto!
An Original Play by Seanie Sugrue
THEATER SCENE
Most of the first act is a series of scenes where we meet a female escort Peter picked up at “hipster bar on the Upper East Side,” his contentious band mate and his weary mother in Woodside, Queens....Jenni Halina is delightfully brassy as the wily escort from Utah.

DRAMA QUEENSThe audience sees Peter, a man who can’t afford his female escort, and he ends up stealing money from her pocket book after she steps away from the room. After she returns to the room, Peter pays her with her own money...The play further highlights a level of consciousness with the audience that demonstrates a glimpse of hope when one realizes his or her shortcomings... It recognizes the depth of depredation that exist in New York City. Yet, drug addiction, prostitution, and homelessness are not just confine to this city. The writer forces the audience to scrutinize and see at least an ounce of truth in and beyond the sphere of human existence. The audience comes away with a satisfied or motivated spirit to aim for the stars or land on Pluto.-Drama Queens Peer Review
